RHS “MARCHING HUNDRED”
2010 PRODUCTION
LEGENDS TOUR 2010 The “Marching Hundred’s” 2010
production is simply entitled, “Legends”. The show begins with a fast paced,
highly energetic introduction, which features the Color
Guard with music from the self-titled 1976 album, “Boston”.
The first movement transitions to Heart’s 1977 top twenty
hit, “Barracuda”. It also features the percussion section
with the familiar strains of the Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t
Fear the Reaper”. The second movement features the
Tigerette Dance Line with a traditional kick line to the
music of AC/DC. Next the Majorettes take the stage with a
routine to Pete Townsend’s 1978 release, “Who Are You?”
This hit from “The Who” is the featured theme song for the
popular TV series, CSI. Finally, we conclude “Legends” with
selections from a group known for their power ballads. We
begin with a horn feature based on “Journey’s” piano prelude
for their 1981 hit, “Open Arms”. From the album “Escape”,
we then conclude the show with Journey’s signature song,
“Don’t Stop Believin”.
